I need someone smarter than myself, when it comes to the internets and computers, to help us out-wit the Actiontec GT704-WG wireless router/gateway that we bought from verizon. I need it to work with AT&T internet. I figure there has to be a way to do this, but the hubs and I just are not experts at out-smarting technology.
Maybe a certain Jones boy would like to volunteer? I will pay you in beer.

I'm no expert, but don't you need an AT&T modem that the router hooks into for the DSL to function? That's the way mine works anyway

Check your modem settings. Make sure your VPI is set to 0, VCI is set to 35, and encapsulation is PPPoE. If that doesn't work try yelling at it.
I actually have a cheat sheet printed out that says all those things... the problem is, I don't know how to find where to put them...
